$83,000.00 Settlement in San Francisco Harassment and Constructive Eviction Lawsuit

Secured a $83,000.00 settlement on behalf of two immigrant tenants of San Francisco apartment not subject to the Residential Rent Stabilization and Arbitration Ordinance. In the lawsuit, the tenants alleged they were constructively evicted after enduring harassment by their landlords and being forced to live in a unit with, among other things, heating and plumbing not maintained in good working order, rodent and cockroach infestations, ineffective waterproofing of roof and exterior walls, and moisture and mold growth in several rooms.
