Aser G. Tolentino, Esq.

Aser joined Tenant Law Group in March 2020. His practice focuses on counseling clients in landlord-tenant matters, advising them of their rights, and recommending a course of action to help them achieve their desired outcome.

Aser graduated from the University of California, Davis with honors in 2007, majoring in political science and history. He continued his education at UC Davis School of Law where he graduated Order of the Coif (top 5%) in 2010. His legal practice after graduation focused on criminal prosecution, serving as an acting deputy district attorney for Placer County through 2011. After losing all usable vision, he transitioned to the vocational rehabilitation field, where he worked as an assistive technology instructor and digital accessibility consultant with Society for the Blind in Sacramento from 2015 to 2020.

Aser grew up on Air Force bases located around the Pacific Rim before settling in Sacramento, California. In his free time, he travels worlds digital and real with his wife Megan and guide dog Dixie. He has been quoted in a wide range of media including television and radio, Time Magazine Online, and the fan site The Mary Sue on matters related to digital accessibility. He also contributed work to the Fate Accessibility Toolkit, a game supplement which was nominated for the 2020 Nebula Award for best game writing.
