Lucía joined Tenant Law Group in November 2023. She worked as a Client Intake Specialist before her promotion to Client Onboarding Specialist. She is responsible for collecting and organizing essential documents, so the firm’s Client Intake & Engagement Team can effectively assess whether Tenant Law Group is the perfect fit for prospective new clients’ tenant rights matters.

Lucía studied international business at the University of Sonora in Hermosillo, Mexico. Lucía has professional experience in international customer care, administration, medical and legal interpretation, and, most recently, years of experience in fraud prevention.

Before joining Tenant Law Group, Lucia was a Senior Fraud Analyst at Uphold, a California-based cryptocurrency company where she was responsible for handling ongoing fraud investigations and account takeovers, communicating directly with potential victims of fraud, and overseeing many other tasks related to fraud prevention. Before that, she worked at Propio Language Services as an interpreter in the medical and legal fields.

Lucía strongly believes it is never too late to pursue personal and professional goals. She is detail-oriented, focused, hardworking, and committed.

Outside work, her favorite activity is indoor cycling. She also enjoys exploring new activities and loves spending time with her dogs.

Fully bilingual, Lucia speaks native Spanish and fluent English, and is interested in learning a third language.
