Marco A. Urias

Paralegal

Marco joined Tenant Law Group in June 2024. He collaborates closely with the firm’s attorneys to pursue affirmative claims against landlords who violate tenant rights.

Marco received a bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, Mexico, and is licensed to practice law in Mexico. He also holds a master’s degree in Human Rights and a doctorate in Law. His legal expertise is further bolstered by specialties in Judicial Secretary and Employment Law, alongside certifications in Python for Data Science and Google Data Analytics.

Before joining Tenant Law Group, Marco built a strong foundation in legal expertise through diverse experiences. As Chief of Transparency and Data Protection at the Chihuahua State Government, he spearheaded data optimization projects using case management software while also honing his teaching skills at Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua. Marco also tackled complex legal issues in diverse legal roles, such as Independent Legal Counsel for international clients in cross-border legal matters, Administrative Assistant to the Judge of the 8th Court of District in Chihuahua, and Chief of the Legal Department at the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia Chihuahua Office.

Outside of work, Marco loves spending time with his family, reading, grilling, practicing strength training, coding, and watching movies.

Marco speaks native Spanish and fluent English.
