Micah A. Thompson, Esq.
Attorney
Micah joined Tenant Law Group in March 2025. She focuses one hundred percent of her practice on helping California tenants who have been illegally evicted, harassed, or forced to endure unlivable conditions recover monetary damages from their landlords. She has dedicated much of her legal career to prosecuting claims on behalf of the injured, securing recoveries through mediation, arbitration, and trial.
Micah earned her bachelor’s degree in finance, cum laude, from the University of San Francisco in 2008 and her Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in 2011.
She began her legal career at Jackson Lewis LLP, a prominent national law firm specializing in labor and employment law, where she gained valuable experience in legal research and drafting. She later worked as a Litigation Associate at the Law Offices of Michael A. Thompson, a leading personal injury firm, where she continued honing her litigation and negotiation skills.
A key highlight was securing a multimillion-dollar settlement for a client involved in a catastrophic automobile collision.
In June 2014, she founded the Law Office of Micah Thompson, where she spent more than a decade advocating for the injured in personal injury, housing rights, and landlord-tenant matters. She has represented clients in all phases of civil litigation, including initiating and defending lawsuits, conducting and defending depositions, attending mediations, preparing oral arguments, and appearing at hearings.
Outside of work, Micah enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
