
Michael J. Vroman, Esq.
Michael (Mike) joined Tenant Law Group in January 2023 as Trial Counsel. A highly skilled courtroom advocate who has personally tried scores of cases to verdict before a jury, Mike dedicates one hundred percent of his practice to helping tenants recover money damages following egregious landlord behavior.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law. He has been licensed to practice law in California since December 2006.
Prior to joining Tenant Law Group, Mike spent over fifteen years as a Deputy District Attorney at the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, he conducted over seventy-five jury trials to verdict ranging from DUI to narcotics to multi-defendant gang homicide with special circumstances; wrote and argued dozens of motions including Motions to Suppress, 995 Motions, and Motions in Limine; and conducted hundreds of preliminary hearings on all types of cases. In recognition of his efforts, Mike was named Region II California Narcotics Officers Association Attorney of the Year in 2012.
An Eagle Scout, Mike is passionate about trial advocacy and looks forward to any opportunity he can spend in the courtroom.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and learning how to cook.
In addition to English, Mike has a working knowledge of Spanish.
